12 Months Additional Manufacturer's Warranty

At Luxury For Princess, we stand behind the quality of our products and offer a 12-month additional manufacturer's warranty on all 100% real hair extensions, starting from the day your order is delivered. To make use of this additional 12-month quality warranty, proof of purchase of your Luxury For Princess hair extensions and the products from the Luxury Hair Care Line is required.

Read the Care Guide you received with your hair extensions carefully or consult it via our website. Please note that this additional warranty will be permanently void in the event of intentional damage, negligence, heat damage caused by styling above 120 °C, failure to follow our recommended aftercare, or any chemical treatment (such as dyeing, toning, or bleaching the hair). This additional warranty does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

How to care for hair extensions

Our Luxury For Princess clip-in extensions are made from 100% Remy Human Hair and can last up to 12 months with proper care. We strongly recommend investing in high-quality hair care products, as care and maintenance are crucial to the lifespan of hair extensions. That is why we developed our own hair care line, specially designed to care for both your hair extensions and your natural hair.

Brushing

It is very important to brush your hair extensions regularly to prevent tangling and ensure that the extensions are less likely to break. Always start at the bottom and work your way up with a hair extension brush such as our Luxury Brush. Only work your way upward once all tangles have been removed.

Washing

Hair extensions do not absorb natural oils from the scalp like your own hair does, so they do not need to be washed as often. We recommend washing your Luxury For Princess hair extensions only every 15 to 20 wears, or when too much product residue has built up and they become difficult to style. Please note that the less often you wash your hair extensions, the longer they will last.

Wash your hair extensions with our hair care products specially developed for hair extensions. Fill a sink with water and first apply the Luxury Hair Extension Shampoo. Rinse it out, then apply a generous amount of Luxury Extension Conditioner to the lengths and ends. Make sure not to wet the band and clip attachment at the top of the extensions to prevent problems such as shedding, peeling, or breakage caused by water absorption. Rinse out the conditioner and rinse the extensions again with cold water to lock in moisture. Then apply the Luxury Extension Boost Mask to the extensions to restore smoothness, nourishment, and shine.

Comb each individual section from the bottom upward with a wide-toothed comb to distribute the hair mask properly and remove tangles. Since these are separate clip-in wefts (which are not worn in your own hair during treatment), leave the wefts with the mask on a flat surface for at least 4 to 6 hours or overnight for the best results. Finally, lay the section of hair flat on a towel on a flat surface to air-dry.

Trimming

Split ends are a natural occurrence and can develop in real hair extensions. If necessary, you can trim the ends of the extensions.

Colouring

Our hair extensions can be dyed darker or toned by a professional hair colourist experienced in working with hair extensions. Changing the colour can produce unpredictable results due to the genetic composition of the hair, and we cannot guarantee the result if you proceed with colouring. We strongly advise against having hair extensions dyed lighter, as they would need to be bleached. Bleaching is a damaging chemical process that can affect the quality of your hair extensions set and may even damage it.

Real hair can be coloured, but we do not recommend it. All coloured hair is treated at your own risk. We recommend testing one clip-in hair extension before colouring the full set to ensure that you are satisfied with the result. We recommend using a semi-permanent hair dye, as it is less damaging to the hair extensions.

Please note: As soon as you have the hair extensions treated, coloured, or bleached yourself or by a third party, the 12-month additional manufacturer's warranty will be permanently void.

Heat styling

Our hair extensions are made from 100% Remy Human Hair and can be curled, styled, and blow-dried just like your own hair. To extend the lifespan of your hair extensions, we recommend using a heat protectant, such as our Luxury Thermal Serum. We also recommend using only a low temperature of up to 120 °C, as higher temperatures increase the risk of hair damage and void the additional warranty.

Storage

Our clip-in hair extensions must be stored completely dry. Store them flat, in a plastic bag or box, and away from direct sunlight. You can store your clip-in hair extensions in your wardrobe using our luxury storage case & hanger.

Swimming

We advise against swimming with your extensions in and recommend not letting them get wet (except when washing them). Chlorine from swimming pools, salt from seawater, and dirt in all bodies of water can be harmful to your hair extensions. Swimming with your extensions in can also cause the extensions to tangle with your own hair, which can be damaging. If you want to wear your extensions in the water, make sure to put your hair up to prevent it from getting wet.

Sleeping

We advise against sleeping with your Luxury For Princess hair extensions in, as they can become tangled during sleep and damage both the extensions and your own hair. Since clipping them in and removing them takes only a few minutes, we recommend doing this daily to maintain hair quality.
